2. What if I do not meet the minimum experience requirements?
In lieu of minimum experience requirements, education may be substituted. Contact your local OneStop to discuss possible educational opportunities.
3. Where can I send my resume?
readySC™ does not accept resumes in place of applications for training programs.

4. How do I apply for training on the sctechjobs.com website?
Go to www.sctechjobs.com. Click on a particular recruitment you wish to apply for. You will see the flyer describing the position requirements. At the bottom of that flyer there is a button to click to apply.
Next, you will see application instructions. Once you click the box that you agree with the terms of use you can create your account by clicking “I am a new user.”
You will then be prompted to enter your personal information to create your account.
5. How can I check my application status?
Log on to www.sctechjobs.com and click "My Applications" and then the “Retrieve Applications” button. On the next screen you will see the Status/Disposition of your application. Due to the number of applications, the selection process may take up to one year. Thank you for your patience.
6. When will I receive my confirmation reply?
Please allow 24-48 hours for an automatic generated confirmation reply.
7. What does closed opportunity mean?

8. How do I create a UserID and Password?
To set up a username and password do the following:
Click on "Application-on-File." This application can be used later for copying to other opportunities.
9. What do I do if I have lost my UserID and Password?
Log on to www.sctechjobs.com and click "My Applications" button. From the next screen you will be able to retrieve your username and/or password.
10. How do I update my contact information?
Log on to www.sctechjobs.com and click "Update My Contact Info" button. You will be able to make any necessary changes after entering your username and password.
11. Why is my application being reviewed by the SC Dept of Employment & Workforce and not First Quality?
Due to the large number of applications for First Quality positions, the SC Department of Employment & Workforce (DEW) is helping to review applications for training. Applications are screened by DEW based on the criteria provided by First Quality.
All applications will be reviewed in the order in which they have been received.
12. What does the pre-employment training entail?
Successful candidates will receive two weeks of training from readySC™ at Tri County Technical College.
A sample of courses covered include:
- Leadership
- Team Building
- Conflict Resolution
- Safety
- Troubleshooting
- Quality
- 5S
- SPC
Training is an unpaid pre-hire training and assessment process that is required for most positions.
These classes are offered Monday through Thursday over two weeks in four hour sessions from
8:30 AM-12:30 PM or 6 PM-10 PM.
